Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets (HDCMS) presents its fourth annual holiday pop-up on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. to promote holiday shopping in greater Dupont Circle.  This unique Holiday Pop-up event co-locates artists and makers in front of retail shops around Dupont Circle, plus inside the Dupont Underground.

“Dupont Circle has some 53 retailers selling amazing things,” says Sue Taylor, chair of the Promotion Committee.  “We are committed to supporting them through our pop-ups which will be located outside for your safe shopping pleasure. Join us for a wonderful Saturday afternoon.”

The pop-up event will have approximately 30 vendors selling everything from jewelry to pottery, from paintings to scarves, to ferns and chocolates for all your holiday gift giving. Pop-up shops will be in front of the retail shops, so you can also check out fine art, imported food, shoes, etc. as you stroll Dupont Circle during the afternoon.  Plus, Dupont Circle has 110 restaurants for your warming pleasure when you need to take a break.

Volunteers will be at the Dupont Circle Metro – North exit on Q Street – passing out maps and directing the public to pop-up shops, Dupont Underground, and the virtual Christmas Market at the Heurich House.  The event is free and open to the public.

The holiday pop-up is organized by Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets, and sponsored by the Department of Local and Small Business Development, Dupont Festival, and the Dupont Underground.  A list of locations and vendors will be available on the website www.DupontCirclePopup.com.  For the Christkindlmarkt, visit www.heurichchristmas.org.

The mission of Historic Dupont Main Streets is to promote, coordinate, and maintain improvements of the cultural, economic, and environmental qualities of Dupont Circle to make it an exemplary place to live, work, shop, and play. To learn more, visit www.DupontCircleMainStreets.org.
